✓What to Do Now

1

Gather all your sources

List all books, articles, websites, and other materials you've used in your paper.

2

Identify source type

Determine if each source is a book, journal article, website, video, etc. - format differs by type.

3

Use citation generators as a starting point

Tools like Zotero, EasyBib, or Citation Machine can help, but always double-check against APA manual.

4

Format your Reference page

Alphabetize by author's last name, use hanging indent, double-space everything.

5

Add in-text citations

Every source in your References must have at least one in-text citation, and vice versa.

6

Double-check formatting

Verify punctuation, italics, capitalization, and spacing match APA 7th edition guidelines.
